B1G vs PAC Rose Bowl matchups since 2000

PAC 10
B1G has only 4

Ohio State has two of those. Outside of Ohio State you haven't seen many B1G teams be able to compete.

Ohio State is what happens when you allow a school to kill a conference in football.

B1G against the PAC since 2000
51-64
http://mcubed.net/ncaaf/tvc/big10/pac12.shtml

B1G has had losing decades to the PAC since 1960
What does 2000 have to do with anything? Ohio State has beaten Washington in the Rose Bowl and USC in the Cotton Bowl in the CFP era, and hasn't lost to a has been PAC 10 school in many years. Are you pretending to be a fan of Pete Carroll's USC teams now? You root for WVU and pretend to root for Texas, so your attacks on Ohio State are laughable. Again, win a CFP game, then come talk to me. Neither the Big 12 nor the PAC 10 has won a single CFP game.

What does 2014 have to do with anything?

B1G has won 3 National Championships since 1970

That is 50 years of football.
Ohio State with 2 1/2
Michigan with 1/2

I wouldn't be crowing too much about how great the B1G is.

Jerkoff with zero sources talking to a guy with sources. Keep connecting dots like you did last time. Dude you really are a loser.

I am winning Greggy.

No one thinks the Rust Belt Conference is worth anything.
Sorry...Just the reality.

Demographics...
None of the states in the B1G are growing. They are stagnant.
Population matters in CFB.

Recruits and Televisions.

Arizona Population

1950 749,587 50.1%
1960 1,302,161 73.7%
1970 1,745,944 34.1%
1980 2,718,215 55.7%
1990 3,665,228 34.8%
2000 5,130,632 40.0%
2010 6,392,017 24.6%

Well over 7 million right now
So in 50 years they tripled their population

Makes you wonder why they suck so bad in football...

In 50 years, football might be like disco...dead

ASU and Arizona St should be easy to recruit...if you been there, you know why..

...not a hard place to convince young men to spend 4 years of their life.

In relation to who

Arizona State has had 53 players drafted by the NFL since 2000
WVU 47

Arizona State is about equal to WVU in football.
In the Top 25 more years than not and can have a huge season every once in awhile.

UoA is a brand name basketball program.

Both are borderline bluebloods in College Baseball.

Adding UCLA, USC, UoA and Arizona State will be a huge addition for baseball.

They never win anything....

I dont care how you twist your self-fulfilling argument.

A brand name basketball program?

That is totally subjective. So is WVU.

...they were good for awhile.

There is nothing to suggest the status quo is changing.

The problem with all of this talk about the PAC 12 focusing only on athletics is that the “left” coast schools are run by the politicians and their priorities are “different.” Those athletic departments and schools are going broke for reasons that a new TV deal will not fix.

Inviting them into the Big XII would be inviting cancer into the Big XII. We don’t want them. Trust me.

Compare that to Ohio who has been well below the national average since 1970 in growth.
Ohio is similar to every state in the B1G

1970 10,652,017 9.7%
1980 10,797,630 1.4%
1990 10,847,115 0.5%
2000 11,353,140 4.7%
2010 11,536,504 1.6%
Est. 2019 11,689,100

The problem is it's mostly made up....

USC is showing their teeth.

And yet it is the Pac which is weakening....

...its almost like good football programs arent dependent on national growth averages.

Shouldn't they..

Let's not get politics brought into this but USC has and still does for the most part represent Southern California conservatism.

They feel like they deserve what is theirs because they bring everything to the table.
Nothing wrong with them wanting to be like Texas.

If you mean they havent been good for a long time...yes, they are just like Texas..

USC doesn't enjoy the local cult following like Texas has....

The B12 Flagship is Oklahoma. Texas is just an annoyance.

The B1G is for the most part as well.
Most people outside of the B1G look down on the conference in football
Ohio State has been able to maintain their program by recruiting elsewhere. But other schools aren't as lucky.

Plus you have the entire issue with people bring touched without permission.
B1G has more pedos than the Catholic Church

And yet you're slobbering for ND...

I guess those Catholic cover up specialists are ok when they benefit your own cult?

Not really.

You know ND almost joined a conference.
Was actually a creation of Pitt.
Their AD Tom Hamilton.

ND will join a conference if it makes sense and includes USC.

Not wanting them or not. Just saying that ND could join a conference if it was a National Conference in key recruiting areas

He went out west to create the PAC 8.
The original West Coast conference the PCC fell to pieces because USC and Stanford wanted something bigger.
This was ND.

Not much has changed at any of the schools except that Pitt isn't what it once was and the Northeast isn't important to CFB.
Texas, Georgia and Florida is where the talent is.

You need to find a real life person to tell this to, no one here cares.
