Am I the only one who hates that they remain in control when they're facing each other but the "top" guy has one arm around the waist?

No. It’s definitely a dumb rule. It’s up there with the “no takedown if the bottom guy still has the top guys foot”.
That and having someones leg when your on bottom preventing a TD.

Big fan of how Plott seems to have rebounded from the Ferrari loss. Think some guys would let that get in their head and shake their confidence, and he’s shown that he’s not built like that
197 - Surber with a 3rd period last second FALL!!!
Unfortunately they waved it off. So he wins by 20-6 major
HWT - 2nd Lieutenant Pindrickson with a 1st period FALL!!!
Nice run in the quarters with Troy getting a last second takedown for the major over Jordan. Jamison wrestling great with a tech over OU and Teague getting another win over OU. Fish with a decision, Hamiti with a tech and Plott with a pin. Witcraft came back some on Burwick but lost and Amine gave up escape with a few seconds left in the 2nd period. He did not get his escape quick enough to keep his riding time and then got taken down. I did not like Amine match score recognition and focus. Surber with the major and Hendrickson with the pin. That is 8 in the semi's.
After all of the OSU results, but some other weights still pending.

Guys have looked good for the most part. Love seeing all the bonus point wins.
Good, not great showing so far. Sucks that Witcraft lost because that bracket is a mess. He could have been in a position to win the dang thing. 133 continues to be the soft spot of this team. Not sure what to think about Amine. He is what he is. Hopefully he will be healthy and pull his March Magic in a few weeks.

I think we're right where we're supposed to be except for the Amine match. I think he got robbed. Guys are wrestling very aggressively.
What does Teague have to do in this next match to make you excited about the change?

125 - Spratley with a 2-0 decision to advance to the finals.
Smart wrestling from Troy. Love to see it! He'll need to be smart against Strickenberger in the finals
