Mine would be McPhee and Bumphis. McPhee still doesn't know how to play defensive end and Bumphis can't catch.

I didn't even expect a whole lot out of Elliott and he's still disappointing.

I haven't given up on Smith yet since he's a sophomore. But, I was hoping he could excel as a change of pace from Heavens and Bumphis. I'm basing this on nothing other than him "looking the part" of a traditional WR more so than anyone else on our roster. Maybe he just sucks or still hasn't learned the game. Either way, I was expecting to hear his name more this year.

confidence in the Alcorn and Houston game and become a bigger part of the offense. But really, I would like us to focus on getting Clark and Heavens the ball more and Bumphis less in the receiving area.

and 3 of their defensive starters signed with MSU (Carmon) and UM (2 others), Ihad flashbacks to the Arizona Western players wesigned a decade ago. So far, I don't think the productionof the MGCCC players has beenmuch different.

way too much by running upfield. Quite simply, he hasn't done anything special this year either.

We are 6th or better (even as high as 4th) in virtually every defensive statistic. Offensively we are practically DFL. Some of that is scheduling, but some of it's poor play.

you shouldn't need wind to put the ball in the endzone... first touchback 4th game of the year

I said it after the Auburn game and I will say it again, he is by far the worst tailback we have. The same people will probably come on here and stick up for him saying "yea well he had a knee injury", yea he had knee injury and I hate it for him, but that was 2 17ing years ago. The same people also said "well just give him some time and some more carries"....there's a reason he's not getting more carries and I'll let you figure that out. Case in point he had one carry against uga for an outstanding 1 yard. I said Ballard would break away with the starting job later into the season, but I should've known he would win the job earlier.

Considering where we were with kickers from 05-08, I'm letting these guys slide. They may not kick it in the endzone(neither could Carlson), but I feel confident in their field goal abilities. Other than 2007, Carlson's knuckle balls were highly erratic and inconsistent on the level of JMM.

All the DL guys said the defensive plan for them was to get upfield as fast as possible.

I've always been cautiously optimistic about Diaz's defense. I'm not sure his schemes are all that. The DL overpersue the backfield. Blitzes don't generate much QB pressure.
