1. Florida State kills BYU.

2. Oregon beats Utah.

3. Washington over USC.

4. Florida-UT closer than everyone expected.

i think number 1 has to be washington. i'm never really shocked when a pretty good bcs school beats one of the best non-bcs schools.

Willingham is like a skinny Croom. Totally useless as a head coach.

...I wasn't completely shocked by that. I mean, I expected USC to win, obviously, but I thought it would be interesting. Washington played well against LSU, and they have a really good QB. Throw in that USC's starting QB was out of the game, and there you go.

The BYU-Florida State game was a bigger surprise to me.

I know SC has QB issues. I know UW is better (and definitely better coached), but they were frickin 0-12 last year. And got blown out in most of those games. There's no way they should've been within 3 TD's of SC.

FSU over BYU doesn't surprise me that much, but the margin does. So much for the BSBCS (h/t to Congresswoman Brown).

I was very surprised at the UT- UF result. Florida looked downright ordinary today.

I knew USC would lose to a chump team out of the Pac 10
just did not think it would be Washington HAHA Priceless those shots of Carroll at the end of the game
This is not your daddies USC after games against OSU and now the Huskies.

I heard a lot of people calling for UW over USC, but almost everyone was saying UF was going to destroy UT.

Just saying.

Oregon was a 4.5 point favorite, so I don't think that qualifies as a shocker. I gotta go with UW over USC. UW beat Idaho last Saturday. That was their first win since 2007. Then this week they knock of one of college football's premier programs.

was the result of the worst Pac-10 ever. Stanford lost to Texas 69-17 that year and lost to San Jose State.

He did have one other good year, in 2001. Then he won big with Bob Davie's players at ND before destroying them. Even in that season, they started 8-0, then got annihlated by USC and lost to NC State in the bowl game.

Ty Willingham managed to go 11-37 at UW, a program with tons of history and tradition. This guy makes Croom look like Lombardi.
