There may be others but SJ 18 Hylton 16 has to be one. The only loss Hylton had all year and by far the lowest points scored. That one win got SJ in the playoffs. Switch that win with any other game and they don't make it...(power points)

Some don't seem like huge upsets

A 7-3 over 1 9-1 in the second week? A 2-8 over 1 4-6? I really don't get calling 4A Amherst over 3A Rustburg when both ended up 3-7.

I know the records don't show it, but Gar-field beating Woodbridge last week is an upset.

I'd say between Stonewall beating Hylton or Landstown beating Salem. Stonewall pulled the Virginia Tech this season getting the big upset early in the year and things were looking good but ended up dropping some games after.

Gar-field hardly had any wins, and Woodbridge has a small chance at the playoffs still.

At this point nobody has a "small chance" at the playoffs. They're either in or out. The first playoff game is tomorrow night.

Gar-Field finished 3-7, Woodbridge finished 4-6. As a fan you may consider that an upset but it isn't.

Re: Some don't seem like huge upsets

You also have to look at the fact, Woodbridge was 4-2 heading into their conference game with Hylton with a lot of momentum. That night they were blown away 46-6 and things were not the same on Old Bridge Road for the rest of the season. Woodbridge would go on to lose to Potomac and Forest Park heading into the game with Gar-Field and they blew big leads in two of those three games. An upset, NO, just two teams ending the season in different ways.

Valid point, BK.

G-F got blown out in most of the games this season too.
