It seemed like when they made him the face of ESPN after Vital he immediately started hating on UK.
Hey man could have posted this in the game thread. There’s a guy saying it’s narcissistic to not stay on the game thread only lol.
He just thinks he’s always right and doesn’t give actual insight to plays anymore, just keeps talking and talking down to everyone.

He really is. Bilas thinks he knows more than everyone else. The smug know-it-all routine is exhausting, and his dry humor paired with Schulman’s fake laughter to his stupid jokes every damn game is unbearable. It ruins the broadcast.
As we all know he's a Duke homer and does anything he can to discredit UK really obvious.
He gets really butthurt when he's proven wrong by a review or replay. It bothers him for a little while afterwards.
Best thing to do is sync up Tom and Goose with the TV and mute it
He lost my respect when he became a mouthpiece for UNC to avoid the greatest scandal in history of NCAA . While case was being investigated he appeared at a seminar put on by the firm defending UNC . He is trash .

I do not understand how he gets to call so many of our games. Shouldn't he be calling every Duke game he can?
Its so absurd when you think about it. This would be like Larry Bird calling the majority of Detroit pistons games, or Eli Manning calling Patriots games.. you just wouldnt see it. Only Kentucky gets its game called by past rivals lol.

20 years ago, he was a great analyst. Today, I cringe when we get Bilas for our games.

it's insane to have to sync up the game with leach & goose and going thru all the personal difficulty (if you call it that, just PITA really...) but I go thru that so I DONT HAVE to listen to Bilas. been doing it for a long time, when I can catch the live games.
He’s been really bad for quite a while. Not just about UK but in general. He just finds one thing to drone on and on about.
He thinks he is the smartest guy in the room all the time and he likes to hear himself talk.
It makes me laugh whenever some blowhards try to inflate his bloated ego and tell him he should be the commissioner of college basketball.
I’m not sure why you put the word “anymore” in your post, because there never ever was a time when he was the best …despite ESPN’s non-stop efforts to undeservedly anoint him with that status.
fans are so easily offended. this "announcer X is terrible" stuff usually is the result of a 50-50 call that goes the opposite way. like oweh's elbow to the face. bilas thought it was a flagrant, likely because 85% of the time they call any contact to the head a flagrant. listening to the vols meltdown on the radio yesterday (which was great).....they though bilas was a UK homer.
I mean, he went 0-3 on the so-called 50/50 calls that were replayed. Even after seeing the replays.
Both of Pope’s challenges were obvious during real time, yet alone replay (which begs the question…how many calls do these refs miss during a game??). And I’m not sure Oweh even made contact with the UT player.
