It's sad to report that the Illinois High School Football community has lost a special coach. Bill Zimmer was head coadh at Lockport for 35 years. I had the good fortune of growing up four houses away from him. I spent a lot of time at his house when I was a kid. His son is Mike Zimmer. Mike is the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.
