I’ve sort of evolved in my feelings on this. Everyone has heard of MSU and most people watching nfl games are familiar with the players it has produced, but most high schools outside of St Thomas in Florida aren’t known nation wide and I kinda get players wanting to send a little love to the places where they got their start.

Thing is though, right now it seems to be only our former players doing this. Don't think I've heard a single player do that this year other than ours. Go figure.

Honestly, I'd be fine with the NBC Sunday night football broadcast just dropping the player intros. I think they are the only network still doing it.

At least half the players in the Bills/Chiefs games tonight names their HS or Juco, but tonight’s is the only lineup that I’ve watched announced today. I think we just notice it more when we look for our players. I intentionally listened tonight after I heard Jones was out to see if more players did it. Maybe not half but I bet a good 40% tonight did if.

NBC has been the only one doing for years. It started on Monday Night Football and NBC SNF started doing it when they got the Sunday Night game.

This game has not disappointed. Of course most of the games on Sunday are a pretty good match ups they do a really great job of setting that up. I do have to say though this weekend of NFL games was just about as good as the college football games were last night and a great weekend to sit through the tube and watch football.
