To think this Cubs team won 103 games and has proceeded to post goose eggs in 18 straight inns. In the NLCS to lose GMs 2 and 3 after winning gm one is nothing short of mind boggling.

Hill threw 23 straight curve balls at one point in that game. Kershaw gave them a steady diet of curves. Urias is another lefty that will throw nothing but curves.

As a Reds fan, I really don't give a rip about the Cubs. When the Reds are out of it (which is usually sometime in late July) I am waiting for the Cards to fail and then I am at peace. Rooting for the Cubs to fail is kind of like rooting for Vandy to fail in basketball.

While everyone is focused on Chicago, Cleveland is already in it, with a rested Kluber pitching game 1, plus the home field advantage, I am thinking they will be a tough out for either LA or Chi.

I am not from Illinois, Iowa, or Indiana but I have been a Cubs fan for nearly 40 years. I don't understand the hatred toward the Cubs. We just want to be able to celebrate 1 World Championship in our lifetime. Is that too much to ask for?
