One reason for not having a social network account is that late at night after one too many drinks, folks sometimes make asses of themselves.

Yeah well, Ketchum was totally out of line!

He is finding out that there are consequences for making out of line public statements.

Whoa. This is big news. When the hell did this happen?

riiiiiiight.

And isn't Texas responsible for half of the racists at Ole Miss (with the other 50% coming from Georgia, obviously).

What he did last week was stupid. However, I don't have a problem with this. I'm sick of people making comments like these. Bad stuff happened in MS 50 years ago, we get it. Now shut up about it.

He's still the AD of a major university. It is ridiculous and only invites other crazy people to troll him. I'm a bit surprised that some of our more idiotic state fans haven't started doing so. If we win the Egg Bowl, I will expect it to happen.

Im not sure the **** talking will be too bad, especially after this weekend. I may speak alone but I believe the mutual respect is as high as its ever been. Realistically, they should be undefeated if it wernt for 1 bad Bo at LSU and 1 freak play on Saturday. If anything, I believe they rally as a group, maybe move Engram out wide to LT's spot and not be slowed too much. Even after all the injuries, Bucky will have them full of the Holy Spirit for the egg bowl.

Don't you think that it's legit that he answered the idiotic tweet? Since the idiot is a "journalist" with a following, you'd want it answered. AD has the right to micromanage the PR when he wants to. If the idiot was an ordinary fan on a more private account, I'd agree that you just ignore it.

Speak for yourself. The level of respect I have for those guys has stayed consistently low. They warrant any type of racial trolling they get. All of it.

When they quit celebrating the Confederacy, change their name, and their students quit having episodes like their mini riot when Obama was elected, that time they put a noose on Meredith's statue, or when they tormented an African American in the dorm rooms so much that he drop out, such jokes are no longer acceptable.

So, Bjork knows all history of Oxford from having been there for 2 years?

I mean, maybe I am missing something but looks to me that he has only been in Oxford since 2012... Most of his prior experience isn't within 200 miles of the place.

I am not saying he couldn't have fallen in love in such a short time. Just seems a little bit obnoxious to say "you don't know US" when in actuality, you aren't really one of 'them'...

It would have seemed as shallow as when Greg Byrne told everyone to go to hell that badmouthed Starkville in his 3rd year... Oh wait, he didn't do that.

The man is employed by Ole Miss. I think that should give him some grounds to say we when referring to OM. Also, this idiot didn't just insult the town of Oxford. He basically insinuated that everyone in the town is racist. Or tried to but was too stupid to get the insult right. I 100% believe that if someone took a shot at MSU like this when Byrne was AD that he would have defended us.

This is the equivalent of responding to Yancy Porter. How embarrassing is that?

#1. No, Bjork should have NEVER responded to this. #2. He definitely shouldn't have responded to it with anything but a laugh.

I was just pointing out that he really shouldn't be responding at all but definitely not with the manner in which he did. Either wanting to fight or defending the 'honor' of Oxford. He really needs to step away from twitter for a while.
