Congrats to the BLACK KNIGHTS on a hard fought victory. Plymouth made some good adjustments and held us in the second half. Great Defense by the BLACK SWARM keeping Plymouth in check except for the one long run by Webb. Very proud of these boys. ROBBINSVILLE BLACK KNIGHTS. 2014 1A STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Robbinsville! Plymouth was a very good team, but the difference was the heart of #3 and #11. There was not a better athlete on the field than #11. His speed on defense was really impressive. The coffers certainly don't empty for Robbinsville looking at their roster, I wouldn't be surprised to see them making deep runs for a while.
In a track meet we wouldnt be close to plymouth but Our defensive speed was overall faster than Plymouths O or D.
Congrats to the Knights. You have had to hear a lot of crap on here from some rival fans but you stuck with your team and did it the right way. Way to rep WNC.
People keep forgetting that football isn't track. Speed sure helps, but it's no guarantee of winning. Coaching, discipline, and heart can and will beat speed, maybe not always, but nearly always. But give the last three some speed and you're nearly unbeatable.
Congratulations to Coach Walsh, his staff, the fans and the Black Knight players on the perfect season and capturing yet another state title!
Just wanna say thanks to all you SMC brethren for all the support and kind words!! Through the season we are at each other and back and forth, but in the end, got each others back! I would go to war with any of you guys anytime! Its been real......SMC=SO MANY CHAMPIONS
Good post! We all get caught up and say things we shouldn't say sometimes, but at the end of the day, it's all about the SMC! Congrats on the championship. I know you (and all knight fans) waited a long time for it so enjoy the heck out of it! Your boys played an awesome game Saturday! Pretty much shut Plymouth and all that speed down. You never allowed their speed to get to the edge (except for the one play by Webb in the fourth). Very impressive and well deserved! Plymouth is not an easy team to beat. It's been fun on here this year! Talk to all you guys next season.
