Yeah. We in trouble against Iowa. Wrestlestat has us losing. They have Blaze, Duke and Barr getting techd by Ayala, Williams and Endene
Oof. This tournament is abysmal. Love the freestyle participation and all, but hard to get behind this collegiate schedule. Not that it’d matter, but PSU should have to wrestle nationals unseeded. It’s honestly embarrassing.
Anyone hear Brands press conf last week or the week before? Claiming he'll wrestle anyone and has the toughest schedule... and on and on. Made me think of the running complaint on here about them owing us a match at PSU...FIFY

It turns out he just wanted to add that he has come to agree with the Iowa forum fans that he indeed did have an unfair advantage over his opponents, including McDonough, and is seriously thinking about sending his National trophy to Iowa to place in their wrestling room. If the Big10 didn't mandate Iowa wrestle Penn State Cody would have to find a different opponent for that date.

If you just listened to Brock you would have been torn to pick between Denny and Cael to head your wrestling program. And either would be lucky to land the Warrior Run job.
Antonio is underrated.. he will be a good one.

The standard for regret is far different for PSU than Rutgers. Sorry, no.
Contending for a title/high AA is the PSU standard.. it’s not looking good for Connor but I guess ur writing off the younger one too.
Losing a recruit that is high AA/ contending for a title is not a reason for regret here at all. Sometimes those guys can’t start here.
That's a Harer issue, not a PSU issue.
They were always a package deal. And Cael did talk with them. The problem was, Conner is walk-on value at PSU with Kasak and Duke and Sealey at the same weight.
Somehow Cael will survive this after much struggle, much like when he landed RBY after losing Fix.
I grew up in D4 and was able to shake that off after my first semester of seeing matches at Rec Hall. It wasn't hard, just had to watch Ken Chertow once.
One thing I really loathed about the 24/7 board, back when that was the top board, was the volume of posters who had the same fetish about D6. PSU was doomed if we didn't land some Regional 6th from Penns Valley. Same people who aspired to beat Lehigh.
Brock being by himself and not part of a pack, was kinda entertaining.
Forget D4/D6 - every knows Cael should recruit exclusively out of the WPIAL
If he had ever recruited the NE region we might have won something.
Those posts about Lehigh were classic. But that is where the program was at that time.

Neither guy will be at this tournament VA tech and WVU won't be attending. VA tech is at the keystone classic and WVU has a dual against Rider
