... just let me know what you need and I'll make sure you get it.
Aren’t they located in Central time? Not sure what time zone Austin, TX is in but if Central it would make sense they would list times as such..
Not landing one kid?Antonio is underrated.. he will be a good one.
Well u still might regret it. Still dunno how good the younger Harer will be. Looked pretty good at S32.
This is something you can use wrestlestat for. No guarantees the starters will be there but its something:

(No one should be making fun of the Soldier Salute with Penn State going to tourneys like this.)
Haha, fair point. There are a lot more #1’s at the Black Knight Invitational than at the Soldier Solute.

All good, I can see what that guy said about regrets is comical.. I’m still hoping the younger Harer can be a AA lvl wrestler but who knows at this point.Just a little friendly banter.
But TBH I don’t think the Harer’s - either one - are guys that PSU will be losing sleep over.
Super tough kids who I would love to be on the squad, and will be good at a lot of places, but PSU is in Uber- recruiting mode.

I think the Harer bros would fit in well at Penn State because they're both really good, nice and well mannered young men. They will be good in college but probably not as good as the PSU pipeline. Also their dad doesn't like Penn State. That was probably the main reason Penn State wasn't all in for them. But they are good people.Just a little friendly banter.

Glad I'm on your mindMuscle memory remains a thing
kinda like corby and seeing his key board
There is a pretty strong relationship between West Point and the PSU staff. I agree it would be nice if there were a couple competitive teams added, but i expect this to remain as is for a while.Yeah the Levi leg lace was pretty funny. He spun him for two turns. It looked to me like he didn't even get the takedown points, but I didn't rewind. I found a number of matches where the scoreboard could not keep up with the onslaught. In one of our matches they missed 4 points from both a release escape and a TD. It might have been PJ, he was scoring points faster than a pinball machine, insane.
This years performance was a bit beyond over the top in terms of the barrage of pins and tech falls. I wonder if the ARMY, or the other teams especially wave the white flag and start dropping out. Having zero chance to win isn't so great. Then again, hosting PSU has to help the gate $$$.
This event could use another competitive team, I think Virgina Tech makes a lot of sense, then again these smaller schools will get double massacred.
On balance, an early non taxing event is the right call for our development ramp, but we probably should pick another minor event that is slightly more competitive. 4 years ago at least we had a few gaps in the lineup, now it's just an incredible thing to behold.
I spoke to a couple of attendees from other schools yesterday and they were all happy to have Penn State there and to have a chance for their wrestlers to wrestle against our wrestlers. There is a pretty strong relationship between West Point and the PSU staff. Why not add a new rule that a turn from a leg lace gets the top guy 1 pt? Max = 4 pts, same as a NF. That would incorporate an element of freestyle into folkstyle rules while still maintaining the folkstyle basics.Just a small bit of levity from yesterday’s Black Knight. In his semifinals match Levi took his guy down, found himself with both his opponent’s legs below the knees, and instinctively leg-laced and rolled him for 3 exposures - for no points (other than the takedown). Too bad they were wrestling folkstyle, not freestyle.
You would have to do all exposures, you would get your four points scrambling before you had a chance to leg lace more often than not I'd think. Why not add a new rule that a turn from a leg lace gets the top guy 1 pt? A leg lace is pretty obvious. You have control of both legs below the knees and the opponent is not in contact with you in any other way. The opponent is probably not going to attempt a scramble from that position because they could be cradled and pinned. You would have to do all exposures, you would get your four points scrambling before you had a chance to leg lace more often than not I'd think.

How many turns can he get before the ref awards the opponent a point for reaching the five count?!Just a small bit of levity from yesterday’s Black Knight. Reminds me of the time I bought a new car but still tried to put a key in the ignition to start it.How many turns can he get before the ref awards the opponent a point for reaching the five count?!
