There is NO "blackout," this week, HOWEVER...we DO WEAR our "all-black" unis, from time--to-time, for non-blackout games. We have probably lost more games, wearing the all-blacks, then we've won, over the years.

After 2012 they should have burned the black unis! Lost to West Virginia in the snow with a first half lead. Lost to UL with a BCS bid on the line and got a "****" penalty call back of a TD. There is zero good karma in those unis.

They also beat Pitt in the black unis, beat Bielema and Arkansas in thrilling fashion in the black unis, and had the first ever Big Ten program win over Michigan in the black unis. Here's a crazy theory: the color of the jersey has no impact on game performance or outcome. It just adds a little juice to the atmosphere and makes the team look better.

I'm sorry. Do you really think the team wearing black uniforms adds "juice" to the atmosphere?

Juice to the atmoshere??? What a bunch of crap! Maybe it's we were playing Michigan for the first time or an SEC team in our house. Jeezy some of you are completely off your rockers with the black unis. And more people were thrilled seeing the Scarlet and White unis this year than this black out fad.

Juice to the atmosphere??? You are giving credit to the black unis for adding juice to the atmosphere? Here's a crazy theory: The juice was because Rutgers was playing Michigan for the very first time! And Rutgers was playing a SEC team at home. The team and the fans would have had the same juice if we were all in pink pajamas

If the team and/or fans need black uniform/shirt to get pumped up then something is seriously wrong.
