I would have never guessed that, but watching this game Blacksburg defensive line is the mvp of this game. They kept all the big plays in check. Great job blacksburg! Seeds dont matter!

People kept talking like William Byrd only held down that offense because of bad weather but Byrd was way better up front than SR and Blacksburg did the same thing today.

What a run!

That 300 lb line for blacksburg is a baller, most big guys cant move like that. Thats a hell of a way to end your run in 3A.

Congrats to Blacksburg. The hottest team can win any tournament. Great season to Staunton River as well. Unfortunately somebody has to lose but wonderful game. Hope to see both teams at it next year. Football is very strong in the West Region.

A very good game , wonder if bburg could of done this in 4 or 5a. About 1900 students.

Congrats Blacksburg on a well deserved state championship. Congrats to Staunton River as well for a record breaking season.
