What a bizarre post…. Shapen has literally zero control over any of the reasons why you say you hate him.

He’s a lot like Will Rogers… likable, hard worker, gives you everything he’s got, limited in ability.
I would’ve liked to see BS in Leach’s offense. Even Tom Brady wouldn’t look much better if he were running for his life on every snap. BS has been set up to lose.

Except there’s a big difference. I led us to a lot more wins. Even still, most people on this board still hated me and talked crap about me. Well, I guess it’s like Tom Keifer used to sing, you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.

You are one pathetic loser. I showed you stats to back up my point. You insisted on one good pass from Taylor assuring us there wasn’t one. I found one in two seconds just humor you. Then that wasn’t good enough. Make up your mind.
My mind is made up.

I think Kamario will be good in the future. He isn’t very good at passing right now. That’s a fact.

The pass you showed wasn’t a good pass. It was thrown and caught but against SEC defenses it’s not gonna cut it.

He did drop an absolute dime to Thompson in the Arizona State game. Wound up being the difference in the game outcome.
According to espn Blake shapen had 3 TD passes against Arizona state and Kamario doesn’t complete a pass.

so try again

I like Shapen. He is what he is and can help us.
I like KT. He is what he is and can help us.

Coach is getting worse at putting them in positions to succeed.
Well people bitched about the position he put Kamario in against Georgia in the 1st or 2nd quarter. Turns out it was a great position. Had a wide open guy that he overthrew by 8 ft.

Like those 'dimes' Shapen threw against Tenn?

Thanks for your service as a Bulldog. What are you up to now? Did you enjoy your time in Seattle at UW?

He was 18/29 with a TD

you think Kamario would have been better?
Probably not better but you are ignoring the big picture. The issue is more than passing accuracy. Kamario's accuracy is comparable to Shapen and the data supports that. Even if it isn't, Kamario brings 10X more to the table in the run game and QB mobility than Shapen could ever hope. Especially with a swiss cheese O-line.

Well apparently stats are meaningless according to you. I am talking about those three wide open, sure TDs that he missed badly.
Taylor’s stat line this year is the college football equivalent of a TikTok highlight reel set to dramatic music. It looks unstoppable for 60 seconds, but it’s nine touchdowns in situations where the defense was either asleep, confused, or had already quit. Give him the keys for four full quarters against an Alabama or a Texas, or even Missouri’s defense, when they know he’s starting all week. Then we’ll see how many of those stats survive contact with reality. Until then, keep enjoying the sizzle, but it ain’t the steak.
You don't know this. Honestly, I don't either. The unfortunate reality is neither of us will ever know because lebby is going to stick with his boy. I do know this, based on what I've seen in the last 7 games we have little chance to win the egg bowl with shapen at QB. Based on that, I say what in the heck do we have to lose? Give him a shot and and the same time give him some game experience for next year.

You mean on the passes that were 40 plus yards down field while getting smashed by d line?

Combine this thread with the 1 school thread and you can see why OM is having greater success than we are at the moment. OM fans are basically “all in” on their school, teams, and players. We’re divided on nearly everything. He’ll, we can’t even agree if baseball should be supported.
State fans are to Republicans, as UM fans are to Democrats.***

He is in the Lebby Buddy Club with all of our horrible assistant coaches.

Kamario is obviously who needs to be playing, but that is not happening. The fact that he had more carries than both our running backs against Missouri should have Lebby fired. I hope Kamario doesn't hit the transfer portal.

It also sucks that we have former Mississippi State quarterbacks playing better at LSU and Baylor, and another one leading East Carolina to a possible playoff spot.
Here are the season stats of Mike Wright, the former MSU quarterback "leading East Carolina to a possible playoff spot."
Passing: 3-6 for 13 yards (East Carolina's punter has more passing yards than Wright)
Rushing: 13 carries, 76 yards, 2TD
What would East Carolina do without him? He is carrying them on his back to the playoffs***
