Yea you can forget about that, he goes 3 and out and he will get booed out the stadium
In pro sports, booing is commonplace for high-paid athletes. If you pay them, you can boo them. He a 24 year old that’s getting paid $800,000.
Have to agree with Selmon’s paid shill on this one. It’s just a bad look to boo your own players. But we’re definitely going to do it, it’s the MSU way. We will be booing Taylor in 3 years for the next guy. Only guy that never got booed in my lifetime was Dak.
So if we are only going to not boo long tenured NFL starters, we’re in for a rough ride of booing.
A couple of things about Shapen:
1) I just have a hunch he may play well for his last game, he will be motivated.
2) He has survived the season with many predicting before the season he can't stay healthy.
3) He plays hard and wants to win, no doubt he is a leader.
Lastly, I wish/hope he plays his best game ever and we win. If so, I think it would be our best Egg Bowl victory ever also because of their rankings!

One thing to keep in mind, booing stupid play calling as the offense is leaving the field isn’t the same as booing Shapen. I’m almost certain that situation will arise.

I disagree. I think it’s classless to boo a player on senior day.
he may not be your favorite player, but I’ve seen plenty of lesser talents come out on senior day with nobody denigrating them by booing.
I will gladly pay the bail money to anyone that clocks the closest booer over the head with a cowbell. **

Practically speaking, why would Blake Shapen walk away from $800,000 a year- who else is going to pay him that kind of money?

I just don’t understand the Shapen hate. He plays behind a terrible offensive line, takes a beating every game, and has had pretty decent to good stats in most games. The Texas game which sent everybody ever the edge, he threw for 380 yards and four touchdowns. Of course, Mississippi State has some really stupid fans who are always jacking off to the backup quarterback. The only reason I can figure is that he’s the starting quarterback, and MSU fans generally hate the starting quarterback, unless it’s Dak Prescott

He is the one who talked sh*t to the fans. Twice. The ones paying his salary I don’t want him booed because it will hurt recruiting but he’s put himself in this spot.
He is just reacting to the Shat he is getting. I have no doubt that he seen plenty that we don't see.
He’s getting paid a million dollars to not react that way. He has won 1 SEC game in 2 years and made a bunch of critical errors that cost us games (he has also played well at times too). The point is, when you get paid that much money STFU and don’t taunt the fans paying you. He is going to play very little tomorrow anyway so the booing won’t last long.

I don’t think anyone is planning to boo him during Sr Day Ceremonies, but you can be assured that the boos will rain down as soon as the offense stalls.
As I continue to say, we do need to do things differently. We say we are family, we should act like it.
And of course, Shapen isn’t getting paid near what the mouth breathers think he is.

We spent 2 million dollars on Chromosome and Shapen combined. He has no idea what he is talking about and he is never in doubt.
