UA was a massive step up from “Russell Athletic” who at one point supplied red jerseys and called it “Garnet”.
Personally, I prefer UA for the type stuff I wear. I think their workout pants, joggers, tanks and T shirts are cut better like the material over other brands.
And change can be good and Nike is quality stuff. The NFL is Nike, the USA Olympic Team is exclusively Nike I think. And most of all I think that our main target football athletes as a collective bunch would prefer Nike gear and swag over UA or Adidas. And when it comes to Gamecock football, and if Nike being our “official brand” is what sometimes tips the scale to our favor and brings in those freak of nature recruits than I’m all for Nike.
