pretty lofty prediction, hope they are good at prognostication. love how they have grier in a UF uni. no respect.
Well, to be fair, they likely didn't have a bunch of in-game action pictures of him in a WVU uniform.
Pre-season polls are worthless, other than if your team is unranked by the major polls going in then it's hard to climb up as the season wears on. There shouldn't be any polls released until the middle of the season IMHO, after teams have had a chance to prove how good they are in actual games played.
That shows a lot of respect for the direction that WVU us heading particularly Tony Gibson. Sure Grier is why that number is that high but we do have em looking. Seems little high to me but I really think our defense is better than folks expect and our offense will be Top 5.
I don't take too much solace in anything BR says...however ...IMO at season end this is a top 25 team,and if a few chips fall in the right way? A major bowl game...

You make a great point. That's why I like to focus on the pre-season bowl projections.
