Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the way the writer lines up facts is absurd. He pokes fun at us for finishing fifth in the division--this could easily be used as an argument for a season that is more impressive than 9 wins, since we had to play AU, Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas. Then, he inexplicably places Memphis into the five key wins, leaving this bunch with a 27-36 record. Memphis accounted for 11of these losses. He also minimizes any Kentucky losses by stating that UK had 12 losses in the last 2 years (failing to mention that it reached a bowl game in 2 straight years). <div>
</div><div>Finally, your opponents always look worse when you are winning. Turn those 5 "key wins" into losses and Memphis, UGA, Florida, Houston, and Michigan are suddenly above .500 at 32-31. It's not an accident that the teams we beat have a poor record--they must have at least one loss.</div>
