Just wanted to toss this out there for anyone dealing with BP issues or knows someone who is. And I say this because of the recent Matt Jones post. I've had high BP for years around 150/93 give or take 5 on either side....About a year ago I accidently discovered something that completely and totally fixed my HBP while i was searching for a certain mixture to store my electronic PH detector in long term. That mixture was a mix of potassium chloride and water. Well below where I was reading about the mix there was a link titled something like "Potassium Chloride and Vitamin D3". I cliked that link and it brought me to some recent studies of how a high level of D3 and potassium chloride would dramatically decrease blood pressure. With that said i purchased both....4000 IU of D3 and a big bag of potassium chloride...(very cheap online)

I was on lisinopril 20mg for over 2 years for high blood pressure. it helped but not a lot. Listen, no joke...after taking potassium chloride 3 times a day and one vitamin D3 pill at 4000IU or 5000IU a day has totally solved my BP issues...i'm literally 120/78 nearly every day and i haven't exercised in quite some time. Promise you this isn't some BS you randomly read online. give it a shot and lemme know. i promise you it will solve your BP issues and very cheap. research it no kidding. solved my buddies BP issues as well. my doctor couldn't believe it. took me off my meds and said keep doing the potassium chloride and D3 stuff. again, just tossing this out there for any of you who hate taking pills and have high BP. give it a shot trust me you will be astonished.

Thanks!!! Going to check into it for sure. How old are you? I'm 70 and take a 20mg a day. Would love to get off it to see if it would help with "issues" that may be a side affect.

Great athletes have high bp. It does help most to stay in shape though.
Lift 4/5 days a week for the past 4 years and mine dropped immediately

Had a pulmonary embolism due to blood clots in the leg. Doc said it was a miracle I survived as the clot stretched from ankle to my groin. Scary 💩! Meds, laying off the sauce, weight loss, and a better diet, all added to getting back in the game.

If you have any signs of BP issues or pains in the side, get checked out immediately. This board is a band of brothers (and sisters too). We got a season to coach coming up, the bounce back is only great, if we are all involved.

46 years old here. and you are very welcome. ignore the idiots on here thinking i'm selling something. quite the opposite. here just to spread information most people are unaware of. totally natural stuff. look into it no kidding. got me off 20mg lisinopril. like i said, my physician couldn't believe it but when i told him what i was doing the next time i came to see him about my cholesterol he told me he did study it and sure enough took me off of the lisinopril and said keep doing what i'm doing.

You do not want big pharma as an enemy, OleRupp. Watch your six!
guess it's good i use a VPN and am totally anonymous......look, it works. it's that simple. if you have high BP just give it a shot. it'll come down within days and stay that way.

Eat sensibly and exercise. You’re welcome

that doesn't work for everyone. i used to cardio an hour every single day for 2 years straight...blood pressure still high and had very little fat index. but still high BP. some people simply have that genetically induced much like very high cholesterol which i also have and always have had since my late 20's even when in tip top shape. it's genetic. no food or exercise will change that. fact.

very good but not everyone is in that age group you are and not in that kind of shape to be able to lift. I'm simply providing something with proven benefits naturally that requires no drugs or change of lifestyle. very simple. it works and if people here don't want to believe that or attack me as being a "snake oil salesman" then that's fine; don't care. just trying to help some.

Thanks for the information, I never had high blood pressure until 2 years ago, now I’m on 1/2 pill a day. Would love to exchange yours for mine even if it costs more. Old age sucks!

When I get high blood pressure, I go to Rupps Rafters for solutions.

Exercise. Eat right. Visit your doctor for regular check-ups. The end.

P.S. Also, take care of your chompers. Bad teeth = heart issues.

Since Lisinopril only costs like $2 for a 90 day supply what exactly is the reason for injecting all these dangerous chemicals into your body that the OP is talking about? He might be a serial killer, folks. Best be careful and figure he's up to no good kind of like one of those nurses that goes around smothering patients with a pillow in their sleep.

HBP can also be hereditary. I’m almost 57 years old, 5-11 and carrying around more weight than I should. But my BP has always hovered around 118/77. No cholesterol issues either. So got some good genes from somewhere. Probably my dad. I did have to get a pacemaker a few years ago just like my dad and about the same age when he got his.

I've had high BP for many years. I've experimented around with a few things aside from the drug(s) I have taken for high BP. The most important thing I discovered was the herb Hawthorne lowered my BP significantly, so much so that I discontinued taking one of the drugs I was on and now I only take Valsartan. Along with Hawthorne I also take CoQ10 and Omega 3 supplements and my BP stay spot on about 125/70.

The thing is everyone is different and what might work well for one person won't necessarily work well for others, but conventional medicine ignores alternatives so most doctors aren't aware of, or won't prescribe them.

OP found that one weird trick!

Doctors hate him.

Just a friendly reminder from your local healthcare professional

Be VERY CAREFUL about taking (OTC), over the counter meds, especially herbal meds. They can decrease or increase the potency of your prescription meds. ALWAYS inform your PCP about any OTC meds your are taking. The results can literally be deadly.

By the way, too little or too much potassium in your body, hypokalemia or hyperkalemia, is extremely dangerous due to heart arrhythmias

Now, back to your regularly scheduled program.

I agree.....Obviously one has to take into consideration how much potassium one would normally get based on what he or she normally eats as well with Vitamin D3.

you can look up just about any other drug and find the same interactions. if everyone who took prescription meds for pretty much anything actually looked at the interactions i'm not sure any of us would ever take meds.

Honestly mods, go ahead and remove this if you see fit. I was simply trying to help and spread information that I know has worked for myself and others that have tried this. Doesn't do any good this day and age to try and help a single person though. What a sad world this has become. Honestly, just go ahead and remove the entire thing as there's no sense in it being here to begin with obviously.

Little late for that, isn't it? Think of all the people you've already blinded or maimed.
