He was 6'2" when he started high school and is now 6'9"-6'10". Considering the amount of publicity kids are already getting in 9th grade, it's conceivable that he went under the radar while he was growing, especially if the last few inches have come recently. Scottie Pippen was a kid like that, though his growth spurt came in college, and Anthony Davis similarly went from a small, unknown PG to one of the top players in the country by growing 7 inches.<div>
</div><div>Regardless, I don't worry about kids like this. It seems the kids we sign that everyone rolls their eyes at are almost always better than expected. It's the kids everybody wants that we seem to have less luck on.</div>
