It will depend on the independence of Miller versus Mr Bassett. I agree with you that Miller is not a given matched set with Bo, but the dynamic with the father is everything it seems. Unfortunately

I agree because I think he is a 4x AA and possible multiple champ but you also get the dad who is unbelievably high maintenance. Makes Mr Soriano look like an amateur.

Last year’s #1, Marcus Blaze, didn’t announce until signing day.
No scoop on my end but it makes sense. They have and can train there easily. And can you imagine the parents trying to make any suggestions to Cael lmao? It would give psu the inside track on both brothers as well unfortunately.
There are some hard things to explain on a message board about this recruitment. I think a lot changed over time with OSU's approach on Bo and almost none of it had to do with Bo or whether Bo is a good kid and a good wrestler.
Well, you need to tell us so we can take it out of context, get it all screwed up, and start a bunch of rumors.
Does it go something like we have a fixed NIL budget and when Bo committed elsewhere the first go, we went ahead and got Raneys? That substantially reduces our NIL fund. Now we dont have space or NIL for Bo?
We didn’t spend a bunch on the Raneys. They came to win, not get paid.
As for Bo, they really messed up with the timing of leaving Iowa and the ruling involving Deloitte. He can be paid by a school, but if it’s NIL outside the school, he has to prove his value.
So, there will be some scrutiny on the school he decides on if he gets paid.

Melvin’s recruitment will be independent of Bo’s. Goes without saying that getting Bo won’t hurt but it doesn’t guarantee anything. He’s also the only one in that household that really fits Ok State as well at this point and he is very much interested.

He’s on that level. Jax is killing it, and it’s very public. But Bo is 100% a hammer and thrives on getting better.
It also doesn’t get you Melvin. It helps, but it’s not a lock.

Bray said today on FRL they're hearing that us and PSU are not currently in the running for Bo. On IG I saw Bo, Melvin and Keegan will be visiting Nebraska this weekend

Hey now. Just settle down! I'd be surprised if they end up at Nebby. All of those kids are looking for a FS career post college, and the best path to that is either OSU or PSU. I honestly think you guys have the inside track on Melvin. Still plenty of time to sober him up.

Iowa is never out of the fight. They have the money and the resources. They are one coaching change away from being right in the hunt. With as much money as their investors are willing to throw at them, and their lack of conscience of decimating smaller programs, they are very much a threat every year.
The problem with those resources is that the biggest one walks with TnT.
It will have to be done very right to keep ole Bobby in the mix.

I’m not a fan of his but certainly give him props for the state of their program.
