Last 2 games:

aTm = 13/19 178 yards 1 td 0 int's
14 rushes 50 yards 2 td's

Tenn = 13/28 199 yards 2 td's 0 ints
17 rushes 33 yards 0 td's

Is bo still in the heisman race?

I guess they think since he has stopped turning the ball over, he is heisman worthy.

They are a really good team, but Bo isn't the reason for it.

He's Greg McElroy to me. All he has to do is not be terrible and Ole Miss will win 10 games just because of its defense.

To his credit, he hasn't hurt Ole Miss in SEC play. But to say he's in the Heisman conversation is a joke.

Maybe this year, due to their defense. But if it weren't for Wallace, Ole Miss would not have been bowling either of the last two years, and they wouldn't have pulled in that one class due to that. So continuing that, they likely wouldn't have had the defense they have now.

Freeze owes a lot to Bo Wallace.

For the season, Bo is #31 in ESPN's QBR, #9 in passing eff. rating...

Dak is #4 in QBR and #7 in passing efficiency.

I know that the odds have him as the sixth most likely player to win it, but I think has zero chance unless they were to go undefeated. And just to prepare for my arguments with my rebel friends this coming week, I am aware that Dak was a bigger long shot earlier in the year than Bo is right now, but Dak is unquestionably seen as the face of the MSU bulldogs this year while their defense is what everybody in the media is talking about when they talk about OM.

I think even if they go undefeated he won't win it. Then again, Jason White won it so anything is possible.

He does, but without that defense they are 7-5 or 8-4 this year.

If you want to put a UM player on the heisman list, it should be Treadwell. Bo is terrible without Treadwell constiently bailing him out.

And yet before last night, bear Wilson was doing more than treadwell, I believe. Their stats were quite comparable.

I'm sorry. Treadwell is good but Florida has a Sophomore WR that has the same number of receptions with more yards in one less game than he has played in. That's a Florida receiver he is behind. He is not the best in the SEC much less the nation.

Senquez deserves the Heisman hype if anyone on our team does. Leads the NCAA in interceptions with seven.

Senquez is great but without returning kicks or some other redeeming quality he shouldn't be mentioned. Dak is definitely in the top three. Any Ole Miss fans talking up Bo for heisman are just dumb. Make no mistake though, without Bo we would be a lot further behind in building a program.

Talking about insanity lends it credence -- it does not dispel it. They are getting nearly infinite mileage out of one little infographic...

It's crazy to think about where UM would be without Wallace. No way in hell they get to a bowl game in 2012 without him. If they don't get to that bowl, there's a very good chance a big chunk of the 2013 signing class doesn't happen (I'm pretty sure R. Nkemdiche was quoted as saying he wouldn't have come had UM not gone bowling)... And without a lot of the guys in that 2013 class AND with no Bo Wallace in 2013, I really think they miss out on a bowl again. You could make a good case that UM would be on a four year bowl-less streak right now without him.

For all the **** people at UM have given that guy at times, they owe him a whole lot. Wallace may not be a great player, but he is no doubt a good QB. Definitely the best to play that position at UM since Eli.

I agree with that and I know that his name will start getting mentioned if they continue winning, but I still don't think that he can win it unless they go undefeated. He is ranked #9 in the real QBR rating, and he simply does not have stats that by themselves can get him in the discussion. Although Dak's passing stats are similar, he has impressive running stats too and importantly, he is the face of our team. I honestly believe that everybody who is patting OM on the back are basically of this opinion: "Wow that defense is incredible and Bo isn't doing anything to mess that up." Not exactly a heisman campaign motto! If the don't finish 15-0, he can't win it!
