There are very few who know as much about the deep under belly of government and politics as Roger Stone. One of Nixon's closest political confidants. I believe his theory on the JFK assassination and the circumstances and purpose of watergate. He's been warning of the power of the deep state and establishment since the 70s.

You know, I'm not sure which side is more deluded ... the side that believes there are reptilian politicians roaming D.C. or the other end of the spectrum (ardent Democrats and Republicans) who ACTUALLY TRUST their government, see them as righteous caretakers, and feel that the government is an ally who loves them.

Any mark who thinks the latter is as foolish and naive as the people chasing lizards at town hall meetings. The entire government should be locked up for no other reason than making me laugh while Democrats and Republicans cry in anguish.

Can we get an Amen to this? Our "Government" has forgotten the People it was elected to represent. Neither side care a whit about anything but what is best for the"party" or "parties". I do not believe them or trust them in the least. Housecleaning time is long overdue for Congress in particular and Government in general.

So if 20 million Americans agree with this, how doe incumbents keep getting re-elected?
Familiarity? I don't have a clue, Popeer. I've seen the mind blowing numbers for keeping incumbents. I expect an advantage for 'ins' but a 90% (or thereabouts) rate of retention is mind blowing. Hamms was the number one beer in America until Budweiser threw the most money at advertising. H outspent Trump 10-1 and even though Trump 'purchased' tons airtime just for being there, I think that speaks to how bad H was as a candidate. I've lived in 5 states and the District and have oft heard "we ortta farr'm all and start over." <tobbacky spit emoji> Everybody seems to want to throw out the trash, just not their own. I've seen the incredible numbers, but haven't seen any sociological explanations.

IS ANYONE HERE A SOCIOLOGIST!?! Costanza?
