After the reception to Thrones, I was afraid that was coming tonight. But I don't see how the show didnt just get less interesting.

Yeah, I thought he and Richard's strong-arming were going to be enough to get back in Nucky's good graces. I really thought that Nucky's meeting with the Bear Jew had turned him off... will be interesting to see how that business relationship pans out next season. Also will be interesting to see if Richard and Jimmy's mom pick up the pieces of the Commodore/Jimmy's empire...

I still think it has the ability to a really good show, but it's always risky knocking off one of the fan favorites in a series.

I am too a little bit. I was hoping to see Jimmy an richard get back inwith Knucky and expand the Atlantic City Empire. I actually thought for a minute that Knucky was going to shoot Eli instead of Jimmy.

I am with you though, Where will it go from here? That was a pretty ballsy move by the writers, but I am sad because Jimmy was one of my favorites as well.

If you had told people that by the end of the third season Avon and Stringer would be finished as characters, people would have thought the show was over. It still managed to kick ***, though, because it had great writing and acting.

I think we'll see the same thing in Season 3. I expect to see the peripheral characters take a more active role in the show. We'll probably see Capone, Luciano, and Lansky slowly getting more powerful in Chicago and New York.

If not, then that Nucky is a cold, cold 17'er and this show is going to be almost unwatchable next season. Margaret is going to get the old Nucky love tap as well.....

that was not expected, but didn't come across as forced or a "gotcha"-type moment either. well done. i was pretty luke warm on season 1 of BE, but really liked season 2. while i'm not sure where they are gonna take season 3, i'm trusting them not to completely screw it up, because the writing is too good.

anyone watch homeland on showtime? now that show has been epic from the start and next week's finale looks like it's gonna be amazing.
