Do you for one second think any one within or covering the Bears would turn them in if they had a lead about recruiting violations? I think the absence of ANY article of "This Kind' over the last decade is enough of an answer to you.
The reason we can't "Play the Game" as well as EVERYONE else, is we dont have EVERYONE together as one and going one direction.
You think for one second, that NONE of the writers that cover the Bears have had any inkling of a hint that some under the table, shady **** has occurred and really "Dug" into it? If there is any school in the SEC of recent years, outside of Auburn and Cam, UM has raised the most RED FLAGS of anyone. You dont think any of them could dig down and find a DeVinner or possibly 12 DeVinners. I hear about their **** repeatedly and I dont even live in MS anymore. I just heard some **** about them on signing day about trying to get a Top MS RB target's mom a job in Batesville over the summer so he could play his SR year at S Panola. They do this all the time, yet you never hear a story about it. If someone like me who's as far disconnedted from the UM athletic department knows this goes on, then you know damn well the writers who are there every day know the **** that goes on. The Bear writers just turn the blind eye and report NOTHING.
Now, back to the Marshmellow. Did anyone catch his article on Brewster leaving. He threw in a couple lines about Mirando being under NCAA investigation. Yes the information is true, but was is absolutely necessary to include in an article about a former coach taking a new coaching position? 17 no! From day 1, Marshmellow has continued to throw in ****** jabs in almost every positive MSU article. I recall one about us beating Florida for first time in 50 something years in the swamp and ended with a completely irrelevant NEGATIVE comment. He did this **** all the time. I'm glad his sorry *** is leaving. Now maybe positive MSU articles will be positive without some insignificant, irrelevant stat from 1913 about a completely different subject, putting a negative light on it.
