I guess he's getting like the rest of us and starting to get apathetic. There is a point you get to every couple of years, as a State fan, when you see the boulder rolling over the other side of the mountain and all you can do is say not this **** again.
I am not trign to bash Hadad...because much of his rant was GREAT and needed
I don't like...in fact I hate the "Know your role" notion. Basically it's the Miss State shouldn't expect more..."You're not Bama" stuff.
Nobody thinks we are Bama, but I get his point.
A lot of our fans think like this though, and that is that we should base what we think partially on onw aht other people think. So, since nobody expected us to win, we should not feel too bad because we lost. Then, we should schedule soem crappy teams, beat them..then win 7 nextg year, go to a bowl...then once we have to play better teams, suck again...etc..etc...
The problme is we are going to say "We are Miss State and shouldn't expect more...let's win 7 and build". All the while Ole Miss is going to win 9, recruit the crap out of Miss and then we wont beat them for years. I'd like to avoid that last part.
