have such a close relationship with Calipari, influence recruits to go to Memphis when Cali was there and now UK because Cali is there, sit behind the bench at games, and not be considered a representative of Kentucky's athletic interests? WWW doesn't know these recruits before they become prospects, they're not old family friends.

I don't care if World Wide Wes "knows where the line is" and I don't care if he's getting paid a cent by Calipari or UK, there is obvious illegal recruiting going on with him, and just his relationship with Calipari is enough to establish him to be a "representative of Kentucky's athletic interests".

where UMass made the final four. I'm pretty sure that was struck from the records. And UMass is still trying to recover.

He doesn't give a **** what anyone thinks and says whatever he wants to on the air. Before the UK/Uconn game the play by play guy was fellating John Wall (who's good, don't get me wrong) and Knight just goes off on how the kid's just a freshman and everyone who says he's a world beater doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. Hilarious.

I hope he calls some of our games this year. I enjoyed listening to him when he did our game against Cinci last year.

but let's just say that I'm glad your psychotically volatile white male *** is out of coaching too. Now go throw a f'n chair at someone.

I'm glad he said something. He's going to win at UK, but they are just going to be full of one-and-done recruits. I would love to win as much as possible, but I would not want my school to turn into a joke of an academic institution.

...and the reason he has the money and the influence he does is that he connects the dots between propects and pro career managers and agents. A top 10 high school prospect doesn't have to deal with an agent, when he has Wes to do it for him. Wes knows almost every influential AAU Coach. He knows almost every pro Agent. He knows and is friends with almost every NBA Superstar. The question I would have to ask is "who pays for and provides his seats right behind Calipari and the Kentucky bench?" You have to donate a $100,000 to UK to get that kind of priority. That makes him a "Booster."

Guy was a great coach in X's and O's of basketball (Stans should take notice) and probably one of the best coaches on the floor in a game.

But, really? Bob talking about integrity, really, Bob? This coming from a guy who went complete APE-**** at least 5 times during a season, by throwing chairs across the court, punching/choking players, came close to choking or punching out refs many times, got so damn mad he would turn red or have a heart attack, cusses like a damn sailor to recruits, parents, his wife, AD, president of University, etc. It is still clear this 17er has an Anger-mgmt problem and rage issues.

I realize Cali's preception is a sleeze ball, but Knight might also be a little jealous. Knight always seemed a little off to me, mentally, somehow. Could be Alfa-male = Bob. He always needs the headlines, the success and somebody telling him his *** is the best. I am not a Calipari fan at all and by now its obvious I'm not a Knight fan either but this sombitch is batty if his *** starts lecturing others about integrity.

That's like Letterman coming out and taking a dig at Tiger for adultery, pretty hypocritical.

Knight did it the right way though... stressed academics and never had a hint of NCAA violations that I'm aware of

Integrity: noun: : firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values

Ok so let me get this straight, Bob Knight lacks integrity because
a. he choked out a player who obviously needed to be choked out because said kid was a ***** who lacked the mental/testicular fortitude to wipe his own *** after he took a **** without someone telling him to do so.....
b. he went ape **** at the refs at least 5 times a year for horrible calls, hell i want to throw my tv out the window sometimes when watching games....**** that is just wanting the game called consistently/correctly if you ask me .....not an integrity issue maybe over intensity?
c. So cussing during the course of a game/practice means you lack integrity.....hell if that is the case there isnt a damn coach in america that has any integrity

No i think his issue began when all these damn AAU pre-madonnas started arriving on campus and felt like they didnt have to work hard to earn a spot because their whole damn lives they had been coddled and told how great they were and he came from an era that demanded you work your *** off and you might get a shot to make something of yourself

I doubt Knight is jealous of Calipari; how many rings does Calipari have? how many does knight have? 3-0 knight the only thing calipari leads in is schools put on probation 2-0

First off Bob has 3 rings, and an undefeated season to his name, so I doubt he is jealous of Calipari.

You can call Coach Knight a hot head, you can say he can't control his temper, but Integrity is one thing that Coach Knight does have. Never broke or really bent an NCAA rule, stressed academics to the point it hurt his program.

Calipari is just like Bob Huggins in that he will do whatever it takes to win, and will play the AAU game, Knight would not. Also, he is right Calipari has left two programs just ahead of the NCAA, and more than likely will leave a third amid NCAA allegations, if the NCAA wants to investigate one of their power programs.

you know, it kind of all goes together to paint a picture of a particular type of white male. Try not to overthink it, f@ckstick.

Calipari is without a doubt the crookedest guy out there. It's a wonder he's been able to keep his name from being directly connected to violations. Even though UK seems bulletproof, they have been made an example of before (Eddie Sutton), and I have a feeling that there are some Rich Johanningmeiers out there that would love to be "the guy" that took down John Calipari, much in the same way that Sherrill was a big target. He better keep his ducks in a row, because I'm sure there are more than a few SEC coaches that will have no problem turning his *** in, particularly Billy Donovan (aka Rick Pitino's protege).

The stories you hear around Memphis are nothing short of astonishing with what he managed to get away with.

You've hit the nail on the head and I'll take it one step further. There are a lot of people out there whose comments about someone's integrity might be relevant. Bob Knight is not one of those people.
