Torre replace Cox as the Braves manager the first time he stepped down back in the 1980s. Then Cox replaced Torre when he was fired a few years later.</p>

I would not be a bit surprised to see Bob Wellman on the bench...in some capacity.

Brian Snitker. I'm about 95% sure it will come from within the organization.

Torre was replaced by Eddie Haas and eventually Bobby Wine.

When Cox returened, he replaced the immortal Russ Nixon.

Wellman and Snitker are both well thought of in the organization, but I doubt either will get serious consideration for manager. Snitker has an outside shot, but the main names that will be tossed around are gonna be Terry Pendleton, Ned Yost, and Fredi Gonzalez. Another darkhorse name will be Eddie Perez, but I think his time for a manager job is a few years away. I think it'll be Pendleton. You're right though, it will almost certainly come from within the organization or someone like Gonzalez or Yost who have been with the organization previously.
