Making me simultaneously remember that time we made a Heisman winner look like a MAC QB starting his 3rd game and the time we made a MAC QB starting his 3rd game look like a Heisman winner.
Isn't that another one where we got in because of academic rating? Seems like Mullen screwed around coaching wise but we still won it it seems. Didn't we play some midwestern program.
Yes that was the St Pete Bowl.I think that was in St. Petersburg, but can't swear by it. We blocked a FG or XP to eke out a W.
St Pete Bowl against Ball State, who I think was 6-6. Blocked a PAT to keep a one-point lead and then blocked about a 25 yard field goal as time expired to win it. Kind of embarrassing it took that to beat a 6-6 MAC team by one point.Yes that was the St Pete Bowl.
Gator bowlDon't remember which bowl, but MSU sort of humbled Louisville's Lamar Jackson, Heisman winner, as I recall.
Yep...they did...for sure.Don't remember which bowl, but MSU sort of humbled Louisville's Lamar Jackson, Heisman winner, as I recall.
I went to that game. It was Miami of Ohio. Not Ball State. But it felt like a loss even with the win. I loved St Pete. I can’t believe a major league baseball team played in that stadium. To be clear, this was the Keyteon Thompson KT & not our current QB. I’ll probably never get that straight in my head. (started to add sarcasterisks but I’m kind of serious )Gator bowl
KT started bc fitz got murdered against ole Miss
Breeland Speaks was responsible for the hit job on Fitz. I wish nothing but bad things for him in life.Gator bowl

Lamar's favorite receiver Mark McLaurin had 3 interceptions in that game.Don't remember which bowl, but MSU sort of humbled Louisville's Lamar Jackson, Heisman winner, as I recall.
I was there, and so pissed at the end that I couldn’t even celebrate the blocked kick. It was the day after Christmas. We had traveled down to Tampa on Christmas Day… never doing that againI went to that game. It was Miami of Ohio. Not Ball State. But it felt like a loss even with the win. I loved St Pete. That was probably not the smartest decision of my lifeI was there, and so pissed at the end that I couldn’t even celebrate the blocked kick. It was the day after Christmas.
