Spent 4 years in Starkville and a week in Idaho and the only thing that matters; is it
worth it to his career to make a cross-country move to a different social environment
and climate. Let's face it, Idaho has about as much amazing scenery as you can find.
Hiking, whitewater, Snow Skiing, you name it. What Idaho does not have is a chance to
win in a major football conference and play in a BCS bowl.

flying over the Sawtooth and Salmon River Mtn range in a small plane is amazing. 5 days
on the Salmon River in a canoe, even moreso.

Can't knock Idaho at all....it has to be a career thing for Petersen</p>

I live here in Pocatello, ID on the east side of the state. I am also a transplant from Mississippi. They are very similar in a lot of ways. Very conservative people, lots of good ol' boys that love to hunt and fish. People here will give you the shirt off their backs. They are a bit more reserved, but good good people. I love it here and will stay here as long as I can. If this is all true...the biggest thing for me is the new in-road we will have to recruiting the west. That can help a lot with the challenge of recruiting in the SEC
