It was mentioned in this thread or maybe another thread about graduation coming up and whether or not Bolden and DeLaurier were on pace to graduate this year. I saw a picture posted on the Duke Men’s Basketball Facebook page of 3 players that graduated and those 3 players were Antonio Vrankovic, Brennan Besser and Justin Robinson, so Bolden and DeLaurier didn’t graduate this year.

That "unless" quote reminds me of Seinfeld. "We would love to have you work here George... however."

How could Bolden not be interested in playing another season at Duke? NBA isn't going to happpen so enjoy the last meaningful season of your life playing for the most popular program. Use that to parlay a career overseas.

It seems like a pretty easy choice on the surface. I’ve said that I think both return, but that’s just based on a hunch more than anything else.

The only part of your post I would disagree with is you saying this is his last meaningful season of his life. In your opinion it might be, but I’m guessing Marques thinks different.

As fans, we can approach it a number of different ways....1) Javin got feedback and impressed enough that he's in-line for a two-way deal, or 2) the feedback he's gotten is suffice for him and he's now going to prepare for his senior year at Duke.

I'd like to think it's the latter....but we'll know for sure within the next 10 days.

I simply cannot imagine a team telling someone in the middle of workouts, you can leave now, we've seen enough to sign you. But we do need to be cautious.

I saw on another site that Watford signed with LSU. Duke probably stopped recruiting him but you have to wonder if Duke now knows one or both of their Wandering Bigs are coming back.

It worked for Willie “Mays” Hayes in Major League

That's not really what I'm suggesting. Obviously Javin didn't start the workout and not finish. He pulled out of the workout before it started and just informed the Hornets through his people he wouldn't be working out. What I'm saying is that he maybe feels the information he's gathered is enough for him to make an informed decision.

The perfect scenario might be getting one of these guys back plus Coleman. That makes us solid this year and gives us some stability for next year. What do you guys think of Jack, Carey and Hurt up front? I'm assuming Jack gets his shooting touch back and plays more like first semester Jack.

There is a legit need for another BIG. Unless Hurt or Jack will be playing like Zion on the defensive end, Duke needs another player 6'9 or taller.
