Buy some stock in Krylon.

Back to Bolden, I hope like hell for he and Duke that he comes out next season and balls out. Would love to see a Shelden Williams freshman-sophomore type of turn around.
Yeah agreed. I'm really excited about this. I know he didn't show a lot last year but there are definitely a few select moments from this season that, taken with his measurables, could lead to him being a very significant contributor next season.

The team make up will be a lot different. He's gonna benefit big time from having a slashing/passing point guard.

And if K decides on playing a more traditional, two big lineup I assume Carter is flexible enough positionally (I've only really seen him down low but hear he can shoot from 15) to make it work...

Great news! I'm really happy he decided to stay as I thought for sure he was gone one way or another.

This is good news. I know it takes Duke out of the Bamba race, and I am completely cool with that - a sophomore Bolden vs. a freshman Bamba and all. I do wonder if this effects Knox in any way. I would think it could be a positive, as it allows him to have more time at the 3. I'm assuming for him the real questions he is waiting to see answered have more to do with Allen and Kennard's decisions.

I just hope these kids watched the national championship game....the way UNC crashes the boards is a thing of beauty (I mean the refs can't call a foul every time).

I try to tell my young kids on our MAYB team all the time that offensive rebounds are the easiest way to get buckets....its a lot easier than establishing a post position and then making a move against a post player already in good guarding position.

The problem is these kids now a days see it as an insult if you do not run the offense through them and get touches every time they establish good position (by the way I am a huge advocate of paint touches and ball reversal), when in reality its easier to get a double double going to the glass because no one boxes out anymore.....put your big boy pants on and go get the ball......it just won UNC a national tile...just sayin'.

If we get Duval and keep 1 of Allen or Kennard. Yikes!

I know it sounds crazy but I think the team is better if 1 of Luke of Grayson leaves. The log jam at the with Frank, GA, Luke, Trent, and the other freshman would be tough to navigate. Gets even worse if Knox does come and you lose additional minutes at the 3. A lot of 2's who can't really play the 1 and are undersized at the 3.

Duval (hoping beyond hope that we get him)
Frank
Grayson/Luke
Javin
Bolden

Carter
Trent
Vrank
White
O'Connell

That's a solid roster. If we get Duval, please god, then our starting five will be salty. An injury to Duval or Frank could derail the season because we will still have limited depth with guards who can handle. Still, our roster would be good enough to make a deep run.

Better get Carter in that starting five....he will be there!

He probably saw all the twitter hate and thought he can tough it out. Better for himself and Duke IMO. He CAN be very good. I think he will live up to his potential with a summer of hard work and a year of college under his belt. Happy for you Ques!
This means the ship has probably sailed on Bamba.

Probably, but I'm not sure Bamba was a realistic option to begin with. Count me in the camp who is happy to have Bolden back. While he doesn't bring a dearth of experience with him, he'll have been in the program for 15 months when the season tips. On top of that, if he's not hungry for success next season then I don't see a scenario where he ever is hungry.

Even if Grayson or Luke stay we aren't going to have a veteran team. It may be 2019 before we have a real good run and that's hoping we don't have a one and done run. Maybe a couple of our freshman next year will hang around . OFC
