Agreed, his body language always sucked. His effort was poor except for the 1 or 2 plays against Miami.
Later dude...maybe your next program will allow you to play at half speed like you did this year...oh well

He was over ranked period...he was ranked that high on his numbers only...recruiting experts miss every now and then and missed on him
i am sad to see this, but it was predictable given his limited playing time. thought he showed some real promise early.

When exactly did he show promise? Just because he has an NBA type body means nothing without the desire to be better

This seems to be an issue. Maybe the recruiting experts missed but why did K. I would hate to think they are going just by what the rankings are. This was an issue for Urban Meyer at the end of his UF tenure and Bowden towards the end.
I say good for Vrank and Javin if true....I think both of those kids are capable of making contributions next year.

Maybe K messed up too...ever think of that...yes he is the GOAT but he isn't perfect....nobody is...maybe he made a mistake

I felt from day one we over recruited size when we got Bolden. Sometimes more talent isn't the answer when you have committed players fighting for a shot.
At the same time I don't know Bolden and neither do most of you. He has millions of dollars on the line...you have a team you like to root for...get over yourself.

Very true. And you have every right to criticize where necessary. I won't dispute that. But I do agree with Tim that rubbing his name in the dirt with the "lazy", "entitled", etc comments aren't really "necessary", understandable given he may (or may not) be spurning your fanbase, but still not necessary.
For example, I agree that his skills did not match his rankings. Who knows, maybe 4 years from now they will catch up to the expectation. Maybe not. No qualms there. But if the kid practiced like he was supposed to, worked out with coaches, did the things that were asked of him, then IMO the lazy stuff doesn't fit here. And from most people I know who are close enough to the team to give some decent insight, "lazy" wasn't necessarily his issue.
Lots of folks jumping to conclusions and judging the kid without knowing him or if the rumors are true.
Transferring if true does not make sense to me.Means he would have to wait two years to potentially go to the NBA.If it is true can only wish the best for him
This will work out for you guys. Kid was overrated, Im glad he didnt come to UK. Carter is much better. Bamba is about to go to Kentucky, but Carter at Duke is better than Bolden.....and looks like Bolden is transferring to TCU. So, never hear of him again I guess
No one ever wanted to admit or have that conversation about over recruiting. I hope Duke keeps just Vrank, Javin and Carter. Let's see what Robinson has. Let Jack play a natural sf/wf. Let's get Duval.
Clean house and start over.
If Bamba is going to UK, why hasn't he committed yet? Answer > He is waiting to see what happens at Duke. Then he will make a decision.
