Didn't they also lose a WS game letting a popup drop around the mound?
Not sure if you asking this genuinely or facetiously but in case you really don't know,

They dropped a routine foul ball (3 guys surrounded it and watched it hit the ground) that would have been the 3rd out that in the 9th inning that would have sealed the college world series championship. Oregon State ended up coming back to win that game 2 as well as game 3.

Any time some smart-A UPig fan makes a comment about State (happens fairly often based on where I live), I like to ask them if they know how many errors/dropped foul ball State had in our championship run.

You knew it was already over for Sammy, when the cheers were much louder for Dave Van Horn at Calapari’s introductory shindig.

I was asking because I thought that there were two times that they let a popup drop, one in foul territory and one around the mound. Wasn't sure If I was splitting one drop into two or combining two drops into one.
