They treat all their interviews as if they are lucky to have them on, so they only ask them the easiest questions possible and keep it pleasant.
I'd love to see Boone put on a real show with real hard hitting questions. He would crumble. He's awful at PR. I would ask him if in the wake of the last two football seasons, the ad, the pressure from the fanbase, if he'd ever considered resigning or retiring. I would ask him what he wanted his legacy to be at Ole Miss, and how much longer he planned on staying. I would ask him point blank if he thought about firing Nutt the Sunday after the Vanderbilt game, and if he did think about it, why didn't he do it? I would ask him what he meant when he said that he tries not to pay attention to things like the ad and other grumbling from the fans. I would ask him if he thought it was prudent to come out and say that you try not to pay attention to your customers and their concerns.
Those are the types of questions you ask if you want an interesting interview, not softballs like the guys at 56 routinely do.
