Looking past all the hype, one has to question a good player leaving a HOF coach after following him from one place to another. Big Z left, now Fland.
I know us UK fans have our feelings about Cal but it seems the shine is fading from Cal much more than some want to admit.
Looking like that Barnum and Bailey act he does has seen its better days
I don't think either ultimately had the option to return. Big Z got benched and was ineffective toward the end of the year, basically got zero PT in the tournament. Fland is definitely good enough but Arkansas had already recruited Acuff, Thomas, Wagner, etc. assuming he'd be a lock for the draft so there weren't really any openings on the roster for him anymore without screwing over someone else.

Clayton was the cog. A huge cog. They won't be the same.
Clayton was great and we just won a title. We lost our entire backcourt, so yeah, we won't be the same. I can say that I am incredibly impressed with the additions to the team Golden has made. He certainly gets the benefit of the doubt, and even if Condon doesn't come back, it appears to have the makings of a very good team.

I'm excited for next season already, but am still definitely enjoying that National Championship to it's fullest. Never know if you'll ever see another one!

Fland reminds me of SGA. And like SGA he wasn't much of a shooter his first year. But maybe he will improve (like SGA)

🤣🤣 There are those of us who believe that was exposed time and time and time again while Calipari was in Lexington…
Oh hell yes! He was exposed and I find it interesting now that Fland got a one-year dose of Cal, he wants to move on. One and Done with Cal.

I think Florida will be really good again. Condon and Haugh are really good.

Keep in mind that Arkansas went off when Boogie went down

Too ball dominant
He and Wagner couldn't play together. They would've looked better too if Wagner had gone down and Fland stayed healthy. Those 2 guys can't play alongside each other with other non-shooters on the court.

Cal would not have pushed DJ out the door, , although the majority would agree Boogie is the better player. The portal/NIL era puts a different spin on 5 STAR freshmen who are projected late first round draft picks. Cal was used to always pushing those guys out, and just recruiting over them. Now these guys have options, and more importantly financial incentives to return to college.

We had both Harrisons return in 14/15 with Ulis and Booker coming in, plus Poythress and Lyles at the 3. Calipari could make it work if he wanted to.

Florida’s chances next season will depend on Golden using more discretion stalking coeds.
I’m saying he can’t help himself and no one in Gainesville is safe.
You should probably seek therapy on why you hold so tightly to that subject. Wbtw, you obviously don't care of the morality of it all if you're using it as a tired joke.

It’s only not funny to Florida fans. You see the same little deviant grin on Golden’s face and know too that he is up to something.

I’m sure Florida fans want this in their rear view mirror now. The rest of the world will not be able to look at Golden without thinking about it. I just hope he doesn’t try and hump our fans or players.

People say they believe in “innocence until proven guilty” (which it was proven there was zero evidence of the allegations), unless it’s a rival coach, and then they use it as a way to feel better..

This case they brought against him seemed pretty weak but even if the allegations never happened he still comes off as giving creepy dude vibes a bit.

Boogie Fland sure has a nose for the ball.
