I’ve never seen Crosby in person but I have seen Hill multiple times. He is a stud. That Tupelo defense isn't Swiss cheese. Given what Crosby did to them he has to be a stud as well,

Hill looked to me to be more of a bruiser with not a lot of wiggle. Crosby seemed like he was a little more intuitive runner with some moves.

I'd have to see more of them.

Just noticed that my high school Gulfport High won the State Championship.
We were there a few times in the past, never won it before...

Yeah, he’s a beast. Built like Dakota Jordan (guess he reminds me of him because I’ve seen him play baseball too)

He kinda got done wrong this year having to lineup as wildcat QB for most of the season, and everyone knew Tupelo was going to run the ball 9 out of 10 plays

Do you think that was Lebby’s call or Shapen’s ‘read’?
Whether it was the read or not, it’s still Lebby’s offense. And he was making the correct read according to Lebby’s offense and how he’s coached to do- based off numbers. People can blame the read, but it’s the context of the offense that should be blamed here.

That was Shapen’s read.

And it could have been the correct read every time. Just inferior talent not giving the play a chance unless the defense made a mistake.
Lebby said postgame: “Look, we were in a ‘heavy personnel’ look to match their fronts—those guys bring heat with eight or nine up there consistently. QB runs give us the extra hat without tipping pass, and Blake [Shapen] made the right reads on the mesh every time. It chewed clock, but we just couldn’t finish it.”

Don’t blame Blake, rather blame the context of Lebby’s entire offensive scheme.
