all this ******** falls squarely on Croom's fatass shoulders. I think Mullen has gotten about the maximum we could expect out of this bunch. Hopefully, we can continue to improve, but it starts with Mullen and his recruiting. We are severely limited talent-wise, obviously.

We rush three, but someone was wide open in the endzone everytime. I do not like the way Torbush coaches our lb corp. We don't aggressively attack ball carriers, we wait for them to make a move and then let them deliver the blow. I like White and Wright for next year, but those guys could be better if Torbush would turn them loose. Got to have a qb next year to contend for a bowl. Thanks Crooms!!

that's killing us on defense. Our four man front is not getting it done. Hopefully Cox and Boyd mature into big time pass rushers.

QB, Pass Rush and kickoff defense are the three needs.

With no pass rush a good qb like Mallett is going to pick our unter-talented backs apart.

we need help about everywhere. Mullen needs to recruit his *** off. We might need to start a "bring Newton to MSU" fund to have a chance at going bowling next year. Our chances of winning are so razor-thin (due to lack of talent) that we can't overcome turnovers or negative plays in the red zone. It's clear that our team gets deflated by watching Tyson Lee 17 up our scoring chances time after time.

Speaking of recruiting, I hope that we are aware of the DE/ DT playing at Griffin High School as a Junior this year. Last night, he scored a TD by grabbing the handoff away from the QB/RB exchange and trotting into the end zone. Later in the game he jumped up and batted a pass into air, turned around and caught the ball, and ran for 10 yards. His name is Xzavier Dixon and he is a playmaker and a disruptive force on defense. My understanding is that Bama and Auburn have offered him already. I hope that we are after him too. He is clearly the best player on Griffin's unfeated team. Also plays a little TE when needed on offense.

Broomfield and Banks should be better next year. Hell they really only starting getting playing time halfway through the season plus their freshman. Like you said Mullen did the best he could this year. The team never gave up and they will get better. Lets hope the our RB's can step up and fill Dixon's and Durce's shoes next year and QB position can improve.
