I know it's early for this but were most likely to end up in Shreveport or Memphis right? Don't see us moving up past that in bowl pecking order???

After the end of their season and the fact we ended up ahead of them in the rankings, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a better bowl. I wouldn't be surprised the other way either. Memphis could go either way.
Vandy has a record better than the both of us but I could see them in Louisiana. It's all about who sends people to spend money. Ole Miss and Vandy likely send the least amount to Memphis in terms of hotels. We have a huge Bham population so if we don't get Memphis, Bham will pass because they'll make no money on hotels, and we end up in north Louisiana. After going 4-6 and making a bowl I think we'll travel well, so does it matter? We show our worth and next year when we have a stellar year.... BOOM!

I think we will get a good look from Memphis. It's far enough from Starkville that lots of folks will rent hotel rooms, plus we filled the Liberty Bowl up to full capacity when we played there last time back in 2007. I think whoever picks us out of Shreveport, Memphis, or Bham will have at least 40,000 State fans there minimum. All three of those states are recruiting hotbeds for us, so it's win-win either way we go as long as we play well.
