LSU/ARK winner to Sugar, loser to Cotton.
Bama would be the logical Capital One choice.

I think that sets us up for the Peach, right? SoCar to Outback. Florida to Gator. Then we should be up next.

At least that makes perfect sense to me and my already-reserved rooms in the ATL.

I know, that's asking a lot.

But if Auburn wins Saturday, I'm just saying this scenario makes the most sense for every bowl and every fanbase, regardless of tie-ins and pecking order.

between us and Florida. We'll sell the exact same number of tickets as they would. We'll book just as many hotel rooms as they would. TV rating may be a concern, but we've had the better season overall, they are 'down' this year, and just got spanked by FSU. We are also an interesting pick nationally now -- Mullen's name is floating around for coaching searches, Nick Bell's passing a few weeks ago, and the Newton saga have all put us in the national media.

Personally, I don't see why the Peach would pick anyone over us. But then again, I already have rooms booked.

ETA: Sorry, I see why you asked that now... I didn't mean to say we 'should be up next' as far as in bowl pecking order necessarily. I was trying to say the bowls should look at the whole picture, not just order of choice.

that bama goes cap one and lsu to cotton? Traditionally, the team with best record outside of the BCS teams goes to the Capital One Bowl and the Cotton comes after. That would mean LSU to Cap One and Bama to Cotton. Its still up in the air.
