Might as well strike-through that Sports Illustrated projection. That guy isn't even trying at this point.
He's projecting UNLV to the Las Vegas Bowl over an SEC team.

If the Rose picks PSU over Ohio State as being reported, that sends OSU to the Orange Bowl under the weird tie-in rules. Would that affect draw?

ETA: Just found Brett McMurphy's updated projections (noon on 11/30), which explains this process..... Also has an update to his projections. Gator vs Pitt

Given the rankings as they are, no impact to us. I haven't checked to see how many years the Orange has selected SEC vs Big 10 to see how that plays in, but assuming UGA wins the SECCG, it's moot, and Tennessee would shift to the Cotton. Now, if LSU wins and takes Sugar, Bama has claim on the next NY6 spot (Cotton), and if the Orange has Ohio State, Tennessee has to head to the Citrus...

That may be what's happening here...the Big 10 is setting the stage to keep LSU from costing them a NY6 bid.
