That would be a good location but they can have some really crappy weather.
Unfortunately, I believe that was with the assumption Michigan would lose to Ohio State. Now we’re on our way to Detroit or NY.
Michigan’s win make this one a lot more likely. If they had lost to OSU it sounded like they were headed to NYC (I guess they have a big alumni base there).

A 6-6 or a 7-5 Michigan won’t make a difference it’s about putting butts in the seats . Michigan is traveling because they beat OSU any more if the lost to them IMO.
They are slotted on wins for the most part. Bowls can have a six win team jump a seven win team, but not an eight win team, for example. Michigan getting another win opens up more Bowls for them. We thought we could end up in Tampa if we beat Iowa, they could now.
A6-6 Nebraska team in a bowl for the first time since 2016 is going to travel better than a 7-5 Michigan team coming off a NC . The Bowl people now this .
Maybe. But Michigan could also jump all the other 7 win and 8 win teams. I just hope we get a good destination and a good matchup.
When I raised the topic of Huskers opting out a couple weeks ago I was assured by a couple posters here that would never happen with these seniors. I suppose that may true since none of them figure to be high draft picks anyway. But I still wouldn’t be surprised if several opt out after yesterday’s “classic.” They may also have seen enough of this garbage.
I’d personally be OK if all of the seniors opted out so we can start working on next season and start forgetting about this one.
If they get invited to the minor bowl here in PHX I could see a lot of Husker fans coming here to play some golf and enjoy the weather, but do you really think a lot of people will travel to a cold spot to see a couple 6-6 teams in a snowball fight?
If we get the Pinstripe I just might make the five or so hour drive to NYC. Have always wanted to see the city anyways. Probably insane to go to New York in late December to watch two 6-6 teams battle it out. But I suppose I'm not exactly the hallmark of sanity anyways. Heh.
BC would be interesting given that we could have had their coach for half of what we gave Rhule. He’s a better head coach than Matt. Maybe not a better recruiter.

Castellanos is a real good dual threat QB, so it would be an interesting matchup.
