I thought you were talking about something else entirely.
I think that doing that while in the SEC, particularly the West, over that tenure, is impressive. I'm sure that we will see the usual tired arguments about bowls meaning less, etc., however, if this were that easy to do, the list wouldn't be that small.

Not really. They probably should ignore 2020 since that was more about just wanting to go, but in 2016, we went to a bowl because we "earned" it under the rules. Whether there are too many bowls or whether APR should be the tie breaker when deciding who gets to go are different questions.
That’s pretty exclusive company. And MSU did it playing in the most difficult division, bar none, being the SEC west.
Everyone plays under the exact same rules and we are in the list. That is significant and not misleading.
I think it was a block in the back or a blindside block though.
