After reading Bonedaddy's post about the Gator Bowl, I started checking around. I'm not doubting what he heard from the Peach bowl folks (because he knows people), but I did want to share what I learned.
A whole lot of planning goes into traveling to a bowl game, and as of late last night MSU officials were still planning on Atlanta. Both the President's office and the Athletic Department have a ton of logistics to plan, and all of those efforts have been focused on Atlanta.
Also, several articles out this morning are quoting Outback bowl officials as saying that a Spurrier vs Paterno match up is their dream scenario. For us to be out of the Peach, the Outback would have to pass on USCe, and that does not look likely based on reports this morning.
