lol I know its not funny, but my God. Wal Mart? Seriously? Nothing good comes from Wal Mart at 1:30 in the morning. And to think, a year ago he was committing to South Carolina.
Coach Boulware being an old school former thomasville standout player, doesn't play games,I don't feel a bit sorry for people like this who willingly break the law,he's a knuckle head if you ask me,that needs a heavy dose of tuff love!!
"Had not yet qualified academically" That's interesting. Gives them an out besides the recent arrest of course. But, it begs the question as to why he was offered at SC if he hadn't qualified academically for WSU. That's weird! Guess he can work on his degree on our dime in prison.
Not unusual for players to be offered and sign while still working on eligibility. I have seen players taking the SAT right up to start of practice or everyone trying to work out transcripts.
Every recruiter I have ever visited with I told them they were a player IF they had good character. I tell the kids here is how I will help you get recruited in this order: 1. Great Character 2. Grades 3. Can they play? 4. Work ethic
It's not right to sell a kid to a college that can't get it done and most college coaches don't want to mess with a kid they have to worry about grades/ character. Lots of money invested to lose a kid b/c they can't do the work or stay out of trouble. I've had players who needed another SAT score to finalize the deal, but the school wouldn't let them sign til they did. Ex: Elon, App St. Guess it doesn't work the same for SEC schools.
I'm hearing today from good sources that Bowman's mother was with him. He passed the stuff thru the fence to her. If this is correct I would think we should see charges on her.
No you are going on rumor ...what are you 10 years old...classless because you heard something you run to post it like a teenage girl on social media....media reports are fair game but if you do not have proof his mother was involved...
then why post it This post was edited on 3/6 8:44 AM by 2for3
