 How long did it take for him to figure it out? New offensive coaches saw the film and gave him a hint I bet.

It begs the question: Why are so many offensive linemen leaving?

South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer told reporters Friday that it was something he wasn't surprised to see. Beamer hinted USC may have encouraged some of the departures.

"We knew we needed to get better," Beamer said in a news conference. "Look, it is what it is. When you go 4-8, I think we gave up (43) sacks, if I'm not mistaken, it's hard to say that we played great up front. It is what it is."

What can you really say? We've had one of the worst OL in all of college football 3 years running. Our best OL would not start at most any other SEC school. It was an area in need of a total overhaul and that's what we're getting.

I'd rather see the line gutted than have the new OL coach be expected to get blood from a turnip.

I'm not shedding any tears over anyone we've "lost" from last year's OL group, but I'm curious how the coaches plan to fill the holes. Though nobody from last year's OL was worth much, you do actually have to have bodies at the position. Can we get that many from the portal?

He's exactly right.. why is anyone surprised by this or even critical? There was not much they could do in the midst of a terrible year, and now things are being done yet some fans seem to forget how bad it was. Let them go..
