My understanding is Lake Norman lost another player to the transfer portal. 6'7" Center and one of two guys suspended discipline wise for half a game, decided he would take his talents to a private school in Huntersville (?) rather than accept coaching from the Lake Lake Norman coach.
If this is true, while he had talent, he did not have that much talent in my opinion that he could dictate how, when and where he played. LN will miss him, however, they will continue to get better under this coach.

BATTLE OF UNDEFEATED TODAY: 9-0 West Forsyth (8A) vs 8-0 South Stokes (2A) Semi-Finals will be much closer than anyone thinks....South has been a powerhouse the past 5 years. As a West fan, this is the type of team that can beat them....West is loaded with talent....I had family come through West and I currently have family coming through South Stokes; they are well coached and they're consistently a solid top ten 2A program. My two favorite High Schools in this area....

9-1 Mooresville takes on 2-6 Central Cabarrus today at 6pm 12/29. Mooresville hands down will be the team to beat in the 7A NPC. Their only loss was to a good North Meck team in a close battle. Mooresville will definitely be a team to watch out for and could be a threat for a deep run in the playoff. They are loaded with seniors and only few Jrs on the team.
