Great game thus far. Turnover each with LA's recovery leading to late td. LA starts with ball in 3rd quarter.

instead of taking a knee at half rice handed la the game. really bad coaching there. Rice figures out how to manage a game they could win state.

8A is gonna be crazy. LA, Rice, LWE, Marist, Neuqua, NN, West Aurora is 9-0, HF, among others.

LA's defense will help add to the trophy case at the Academy. Borrelli was constantly on the run and LA showed other teams how to scheme against Rice's offense. Ramblers also won the Special teams phase of the game.

Here's some perspective. Rice messed up getting a fought over turnover right before half and mismanaging the Offense. You are up 2 scores with them getting the ball to start the 2nd Half, you sit and enjoy your 2 score lead. Badke got greedy. Then Loyola scores. Turnover gives them another and they stop Baby Gronk and force a punt and score another TD. Rice literally have them 3 scores. 2 to bad coaching. They lost by 11. 'Nuff said.

From someone who saw the game live in person at the field? Does LA have better talent? Or was it better coaching?

Rice has faster, more athletic skill players...by far. LA DB's and LB's couldn't tackle in the open field to save our life. On the other hand LA is bigger in the trenches.

For all that has been said about coaching and game management, the biggest call was LA's 4th qtr fake punt that went for a 30 yd gain and led to the go-ahead TD two plays later.

Rice has better athletes, but LA is the better football team and better program.

In playoffs if loyola is home team rematch the win by 14. If the game is at rice br wins by 7. Both great teams. Another obstical could be bad weather which would affect br more then la.

I think home field advantage means something, but it generally doesn't ever result in a 21 point swing. LA left from school, bussed to Rice in Friday traffic, and beat them by 11 at their place. Both schools were fighting for the CCLB title, top seeds, and to keep an undefeated streak alive. How that translates to LA losing by 7 in a hypothetical playoff game at Rice is mystifying.

Great game to watch. Prior to half after the sack, Rice needs to just go into locker room up 9. Had to know that fake was coming in the 4th. Also that Bad snap, muffed punt can't happen in 4th. This was round 1 they definitely play again.
